Texas Technology Workforce Development Grants

Project Summaries TWD 2002, TWD 2003, TWD 2005, and TWD 2006

Goal of the projects is the increase of students graduating with baccalaureate degrees in electrical engineering (EE) and computer sciences (CS). While some increase can be obtained in the near term through enhanced retention, in general, it requires four to six years to produce a graduate. Departments track three pre-graduation and one graduation enrollment measures, the TWD Student Roster, in order to measure progress. Participating academic TETC members update their student count twice yearly.

The Coordinating Board has published annual reports for the program in October of 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.
