Coronavirus Update for Higher Education

The information on this page is updated regularly.  Last Updated on March 28, 2020 (10:00 PM CDT)

Texas institutions of higher education are working aggressively to help combat the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and taking proactive measures to protect the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and communities. The most important tool available to our campus leaders is accurate and timely information that will allow our colleges and universities to make effective decisions regarding how to plan for and respond to this rapidly evolving situation.

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board is working with all Texas institutions of higher education -- public and private, two-year and four-year colleges and universities, and health-related institutions – to address coronavirus-related issues and to provide the most up-to-date information and resources relevant to higher education decisions makers. Please find below links to several resources that may be helpful to administrators, faculty and other campus stakeholders as they navigate the weeks ahead. This page will be updated continuously as new information becomes available.
