T-STEM Laws and Rules

The Texas Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (T-STEM) Challenge Scholarship Program was established by House Bill 2910, passed by the 82nd Legislature, Regular Session in 2011.

Grants awarded would allow colleges to provide merit-based scholarships to qualifying, high-achieving students. Student eligibility is based on grade point average and successful completion of courses that lead to a degrees and careers in specified STEM fields.
