Lower-Division Academic Course Guide Manual Advisory Committee
The Lower-Division Academic Course Guide Manual Advisory Committee (ACGM) originally functioned as an ad hoc committee, meeting periodically during the 1980s and early 1990s to update the manual as needed. In 1996, it was re-formed as a standing committee with the charge of making recommendations for additions, deletions, and modifications to the
Academic Course Guide Manual. The Committee now meets at least twice annually, and is formed of eight community college and eight university representatives, along with ex officio members representing the Texas Common Course Numbering System.

Current Status: Standing, non-statutory
Meeting Schedule: Meets 2-3 times per year.
ACGM Members: Membership currently includes representatives from public community and technical colleges and universities. Membership terms are for three years with the possibility of reappointment.
