The Texas Core Curriculum (TCC) submission portal is open for institutions to submit the three components - I. Course Selection Process, II. Course Assessment Plan, and III. Proposed Courses - for review.
Step 1: Request Access to the TCC Submission Portal
Request for access can be submitted at any time. Approval confirmation will be emailed within three business days. Detailed instructions for CBID access are found in the TCC User Manual appendix.
Step 2: Submit Documents and Course Selection
1. Required Core Curriculum documentation
A. Component I: The Course Selection Process document that describes your institution's process for ensuring each course aligns with the Foundational Component Area (FCA) definitions and incorporates the required Core Objectives.

B. Component II: The Core Objective Assessment Plan that
a. describes the process for determining Core Objective attainment, and
b. describes your institution's plan for assessment of each Core Objective.

C Component III (B): A URL link to specific documentation and/or documents of how the students will demonstrate the Core Objectives, such as syllabi and other relevant material.

2. Selection of Proposed Courses [Component III (A)]
A. Submit courses to each of the eight FCA.
B. Submit courses to the Component Area Option.
[Select courses from University Program Inventory or ACGM.]
3. Review and Submit to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
Coordinating Board staff estimate institutions receiving final notification of a complete review within eight weeks of submission. All core consideration will be complete by March 1, 2014.
Submissions will be accepted from August 1, 2013 through November 30, 2013. Only institutions that requested early submission will have their TCC reviewed in August through October.
