Hurricane Harvey Institutional Relief Efforts and Federal Disaster Information
The Texas higher education community is working with the Communities Foundation of Texas to organize #harveyHELP, a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for emergency aid to help college students impacted by Hurricane Harvey stay in school. Why emergency aid? Research from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation shows that it helps students overcome the obstacles that can cause them to not continue with their education. Interested in joining #harveyHelp? Check out our GoFundMe page! http://bit.ly/2wrrBA4 #harveyHELP
The Coordinating Board would also like to thank Austin Community College and President Richard Rhodes and his staff for allowing us to present this webinar from their Highland Business Center location.
