The Teacher Quality Grants Program (TQGP) for higher education is a federally funded effort providing grants to higher education institutions to promote improved instruction in mathematics and science for Texas school children by providing professional development for their teachers.
The TQGP makes awards through a competitive review process with the most highly ranked and recommended projects being selected for funding. The RFA focuses in the areas of greatest need for teacher professional development in the state of Texas.
