South Texas College and Alamo Colleges I-BEST Initiatives were recognized in a report from Community College Consortium for Immigrant Education (CCCIE). The report, Increasing Opportunities for Immigrant Students: Community College Strategies for Success, describes key factors that contribute to the success of some of the most innovative community college immigrant education programs in the country. More information on CCCIE may be found at: CCCIE.org
The CCCIE report was summarized in the Chronicle of Higher Education, and the Career Ease program - an integral part of the Alamo Colleges' I-BEST initiative - was highlighted.
