STUDY INFORMATION SHEET STATEMENT: EMPLOYER TUNING SURVEY
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, with grant support from Lumina Foundation for Education, is conducting a study of employers who hire Management Information Systems graduates of Texas higher education institutions. In order to better serve you and your organizational needs, we would like you to take this short survey. The answers will be very valuable in improving curriculum planning and course relevance for future students. If other people in your organization are more directly involved with the Management Information Systems work performed there, please invite them to take this survey, too.
Management Information Systems faculty, alumni, and students throughout the state are also being invited to participate in the study. Follow this link to complete the survey, or continue reading:
You are invited to participate in a study that asks for your opinion on a number of general competencies relevant to your Management Information Systems employees. The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
Only through such broad consultation with different stakeholders will the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board—the state coordinator of this study—be able to arrive at a decision about what learning outcomes are important for Management Information Systems.
You will never be personally identified at any point in the process of this study.
If you have questions at any time about the study or the procedures, you may contact: Debbie Rodriguez, Program Specialist, 1200 E. Anderson Lane, Austin, Texas 78752: via telephone at 512.427.6547, or via email at Debbie.Rodriguez@thecb.state.tx.us.
