Note:

This project proposes to acquire a state-of-the-art photoacoustic imaging system for establishing a core facility at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), which will enable a wide range of research in biophysics, advanced materials, and biomedical applications. The long term goal of this effort is to create a strong research and education program at UTSA supported by the core facility for advanced, multidisciplinary research and training of students at different levels to well prepare them for their future careers in STEM fields.
