1.1.1 - The proposed work aims to develop (1) experimental protocols and data analytics to extract reliable stress cues from commodity sensors, e.g., smartwatches, webcams, keyboards, (2) a suite of engaging biofeedback apps (e.g., games, music) to practice brief relaxation exercises, and (3) a recommendation system that learns which exercises are more effective depending on the user's stress and context. The investigators will conduct a field study to evaluate the proposed interventions on a population of information workers in a high-tech, high-pressure environment.
