1.1.1 - A randomized controlled trial involving 2,000 students at Houston Community College will be conducted; mixed methods data collection will occur via administrative record collection and student surveys. We will examine the impact of the Food Scholarships on food security, employment, course completion, term-to-term retention rates, and semester grades. We will also examine the extent to which the impacts of Food Scholarships are heterogeneous for particular subpopulations.
