1.1.1 - This proposal addresses CFDA 84.305A, Education Research Programs on the topic of Cognition and Student Learning under goal 1, Exploratory Studies. The current project proposes to undertake this investigation to improve understanding of how reader-text interactions: (1) affect performance on standardized and researcher-developed assessments measuring comprehension across a wide grade span, and (2) affect reading intervention effects across a wide grade span.
