To study genetic influences of metabolic disorders in the CCHC, the parties to this agreement propose to conduct an exome-assocation study to investigate coding variants influencing multiple phenotypes by using exome sequencing technology. UTRGV proposes to conduct exome genotyping on subjects from Cameron County Hispanic Cohort with deep phenotyping and longitudinal data. Subjects of interest for selection for exome sequencing may include individuals with cardiovascular imaging such as echocardiography, cIMT, and FMD as well as liver imaging data such as AFRI and FibroScan and Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry.
