UTRGV PI will be response for the coordination and implementation telemore work. UTRGV will perform RT-PCR using the real time PCR based telemore length assays and the telomerase activity assays on the life technologies Quantstudio 12 K Flex Instrument. Southern blot analyses will be performed in our dedicated electrophoresis clean room, and imaging carried out on a Syngene G:Box Chemi XRQ gel imaging and analysis instrument with UV and chemiluminescence capabilities.
