The project will develop algorithms that will interact with and learn from human experts. UT Dallas will be responsible for developing active advice seeking algorithms that will identify situations in which the learning agent needs more guidance from the human expert. The agent will then solicit this advice (or context) by computing its uncertainty over the plans of execution. UT Dallas will primarily be responsible for the interaction with the human expert, solicitation and construction of the background knowledge and the construction of complex concepts using context. In addition, they will evaluate their algorithms in both the blocks world and the biocuration tasks.
