1.1.1: The objective of this research project is to create optimal predictive algorithms for suicide outcomes by applying atheoretical machine learning principles to theoretically-informed CDE variables with the intent of amalgamating an atheoretical, machine-driven approach with a dataset that contains theoretically relevant variables to provide crucial data for the refinement of theories of suicidal behaviors. An approved IRB protocol is in place.
