1.1.1: The objective of this research project is to develop a kinetic computational model that is accurate with experimental data and is developed as a modeling platform that can be used in the future for predicting changes that will help improve the Hexanitrostilbene (HNS) synthesis process using AFR semi-batch technology. To support this computational model, a design of experiments to support and identify the necessary items for a high fidelity kinetic model will also be developed and tested.
