Note:

1.3.1: The objective of this program is development of the West Texas Research Experience for Teachers focused on data science and its' applications in cybersecurity to reach the long-term goal of developing a successful curriculum to educate teachers in under-represented area. Faculty and graduate students will assist in developing, evaluating and revising curriculum and implementation. The evaluation includes formative and summative components, and an external evaluator. At least four peer-reviewed publications are planned by the end of the three-year program, and dissemination also includes local, regional and national digital libraries and conferences. An approved IRB protocol is in place.
