Originally reported in 2015; classified as restricted research. 1.1.1.-- to work on the planetary boundary layers (PBL) retrieval from GPS-RO profiles with a focus on the so-called N-bias problem in RO refractivity retrieval in the presence of duct and to develop and implement the N-bias correction algorithm and validate the new retrieval by comparing with independent in-situ radiosonde, global reanalysis, and high-resolution LES model output.
