Project activities include evaluation of efficacy of Alfa-Guard and AF-36 on aflatoxin development, quantify effects of Bt hybrids on Aspergillus and Fusarium ear rot development and examine interactions between QoI (strobilurin) fungicide applications and mycotoxin development. Extension personnel will target agribusiness industry and corn producers to disseminate research results and provide clientele with decision-making information. Co-PI from TAMUK will be responsible for supervision of all research and extension projects and teacher/student educational activities. This is a subaward with Purdue University. They do not guarantee that the full amount will be funded each of the 5 years of the award. The FY 13 award was for $37,015.
