Note:

Both the bills stress the need for methods in socio-technical aspects of securing the cyber space. Security enables trust which is the foundation of society. We believe identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities require a mind-set related to technical and social issues. Lack of social and security engineering affects website scripts to supply chain management to electronic health records to social networks and to mobile phones. Security is further complicated when applications fail to properly understand the impact of social notions—such as the roles of identity and trust— into an online world.
