Minimum Grade: Grade of D may be included in total number of credit hour accepted for transfer towards electives. Only grades of C or better are applied towards the major, minor, and general education requirements.
Credits (Min/Max): Students must complete a total of 54 hours of upper level credit hours and at least 30 of those credit hours must be taken at UTPB to receive a degree. In addition, at least 25% of the credits used to meet a degree requirement must be from UTPB.

Application Requirements

Minimum GPA: 2.0 ( C ) on a 4.0 grading system.
Official Transcripts: Submit an official transcripts from all colleges/universities previously attended if only for a short period of time.
SAT Scores: SAT or ACT required for transfer students with less than 24 transferable semester credit hours.
Letters of Recommendation: Letters of recommendation are not required.
Essay: An essay is not required.
Application Fee: There is no fee to submit an application.
Interview: An interview is not required.
Other Requirements: Residency questionnaire on Apply Texas electronic application. Proof of having complied with TSI requirement (THEA/TASP, etc.). All required documentation is due 30 days prior to the enrollment date.
