The Table of Programs shows degree programs and planning authority for doctoral and engineering programs. Planning authority prior to submission of a degree program proposal is needed for any program that requires approval at a quarterly Board meeting: doctoral and engineering programs, as well as programs with new costs that would exceed $2 million during the first five years. An institution shall submit notification to the Board for the addition of such programs for inclusion of authority in the Table of Programs [Texas Administrative Code, Title 19 (Education), Part 1, Chapter 5, Subchapter B, §5.24].
